Materials
All furniture in the Transformer Dining Set™ Collection is made with solid wood, engineered hardwood and steel mechanisms. The pieces feature a matte lacquer finish and visible wood grain. Each signature finish reflects a unique intensive creation process:
→ Scandinavian Oak: Crafted of solid oak, engineered hardwood and Danish oak veneers.
→ Canadian Birch, Smoked Hickory, Aged Elm: Crafted of Hevea wood and engineered hardwood sourced from the forests of Malaysia.
→ Dark Walnut: Crafted of solid American ash wood, engineered hardwood and French ash veneers.

Care
Simply use a lint-free dampened cloth with a touch of gentle wood-specific cleaner and wipe in the same direction as the wood grain. Doing so on a regular basis will keep your Transformer Dining Set™ looking as clean as the day it was delivered to your home.
This furniture line is scratch, heat, stain, and liquid resistant. Due to the nature of the wood materials, we highly recommend taking the necessary precautions to keep your dining table looking brand new for many years to come, such as using protective accessories like tablecloths, placemats, coasters, and hot plates to shield your Transformer Table™. Make sure to store your different Transformer Table™ components in the same living space as much as possible, and always keep them in a climate-controlled area. Optionally, you can occasionally use wood polishing oil to restore the shine of your furniture pieces. In the case of an accidental scuff, we do include a bottle of touch-up stain with each Transformer Table™ order so you have a perfect match on hand.

We love our new transformer bench to go with our transformer table. The table and bench are quality built. When our family are all in town with our grandchildren, we can extend the table and bench so we can all enjoy our dinners together.

The transformer bench was an ideal solution for our small lake house that soometimes has a lot of guests. It arrived being exactly as we hoped and the wood is beautiful. The was just one small problem as on of the seat panels won't fit as it should as the pins and hole are slightly off.
We typically will not need all seat sections, so overall it will work great. I can probably either bend a pin or drill out a hole and make it work if needed.

I just recently received the transformer table and 2 benches that I ordered and I am in awe of the clever design! We have a small open concept cottage and do not need a table taking space on a daily basis. I came across the Transformer furniture and decided this is EXACTLY what we needed! At present the table and 1 bench are stacked against a wall as a decorative console table and the other bench is being used as an end table.
The set seems of high quality, it is solid and heavy!
The benches need 2 people to move them because the leaves are stored in them, I guess this is why the table design is not the same as the benches. If the leaves were stored in the table it would be too heavy and would require 3 or 4 people to move it!
I would say the only downfall of this set is finding storage for the table leaves.
This set will be extremely useful come Thanksgiving and Christmas when I have groups of people here for dinner. I can't wait to try it out!
